who we are

Dan and Lydia, believing marriage to be ordained by God,  took their                                                            wedding vows on April 7,1990.

Together they have been doing ministry and marriage for over twenty years. After answering the call to create simple faith ministries fifteen years ago, they traveled the southeast doing music-drama evangelism through concerts and special events in the local church. In 2004, an open door gave them their first opportunity to step into marriage ministry. They partnered with Life Way Christian Resources and joined a team to do Fall Festival of Marriage conferences. From their first appearance on a marriage ministry platform, they knew that this was the purpose for which they had been created. Since then, they have been involved in different forms of marriage ministry serving from the local church to the big stage across the country.

Dan’s spiritual gifts are teaching and leading.  God has given Dan incredible insights into scripture with an ability to teach others how to practically apply them to their daily life. He is a servant-leader to his wife and three children. He’s been leading professionally for over twenty years and has been interviewed by news media’s around the world because of his ability to convey a strong message clearly. Dan has appeared as a music leader, teacher, presenter, and key note speaker in a variety of both ministry and professional venues across the country. He has  twelve years of extensive classical piano training, and plays the keyboard and acoustic guitar. He is the keyboardist for the praise and worship team in his local church, and serves under the leadership of  his pastor by leading marriage classes with Lydia.

Lydia’s spiritual gifts are prophecy and discernment. She has a captivating way of speaking truth into the lives of women both on and off stage. She is a devoted wife and mother of three. She home-schools their children, and any extra time she has, she spends giving Biblical guidance and counsel to women of all ages on topics like: what God really has to say about a woman’s powerful role, nurturing the next generation to become strong husbands and wives,  and how a woman can change her destiny by praying her husband into his. Lydia has a passion for writing true, motivational stories and is a gifted singer and songwriter, touching hearts in a real and personal way with her lyrics and blog stories. She writes most of the songs she and Dan sing in concert and has also written and directed a children’s musical, “Life in an Eggshell”. She sings on the praise and worship team in her local church and helps Dan lead marriage classes through the discipleship program under her pastor’s leadership.

By combining their strengths and talents, Dan and Lydia provide  “practical living” tools to remodel your life and relationships. Their unique message is not only about reaching individual couples, but about saving the next generation of marriages.  Driven by a desire to help stop the cycles of sin that are being passed down from one generation to the next, they want to start a “new” movement in marriage, motivating families to stop living with the chaos in their castles and restore peace to their palace as sons and daughters of the King. They will ignite you to find your true identity in Christ and equip you to pass down a royal heritage. They will illuminate how culture has diluted our God-designed roles as men and women and share ways to recapture the clear image of who God created you to be. They believe this is one way of fulfilling the great commission, because a strong, vibrant marriage can captivate the heart of a lost world and lead them to want to know the loving Bridegroom, Christ.

The most important ministry Dan and Lydia have is to each other and their children, equipping them for their future. Jordan, their oldest son, has announced his call into ministry and is presently serving as the praise and worship leader for the ICON Student Ministry in their home church. Rachel, their beautiful daughter, serves on the drama team for KID City Children’s Ministry and sings in the ICON student band, and John David, their youngest, boldly proclaims that one day when he grows up he’s going to be a “singer or a preacher”.
