who we are

Dan & Lydia White were called to Simple Faith Ministries in 1997.  They combine their gifts of teaching with music and drama to uniquely share how to build successful marriages and families. Their passion is to see families be all that God intended and to stop the cycles of sin that get passed from one generation to the next.  By helping parents heal their marriages and have healthy relationships, they can teach their children to carry on the heritage and become a godly husband or wife.

Dan’s spiritual gift is teaching.  God has given him incredible insights into the Bible and the ability to share with others how to apply it to their every day life.  His musical background includes extensive classical piano training, and his keyboard and guitar abilities enhances their live performances. He has led music and taught at various marriage and church retreats across the country.

Lydia’s spiritual gift is prophecy and she has a passion for speaking the truth in conferences and providing one on one Biblical counsel. She is a gifted singer and songwriter that has no pretense, but touches hearts in a real and personal way.  She writes most of their songs and has also written and directed the children’s musical “Life in an Eggshell”.

Dan and Lydia have led marriage classes at LifeWay’s Fall Festival of Marriage, Alabama statewide deacons, pastors, and wives retreats, as well as many church sponsored marriage retreats. They have also served as praise/worship, music and drama leaders for the Fall Festival of Marriage, Utah/Idaho Evangelism Conference, and Georgia Evangelism Conference. They were privileged to sing at the Georgia Christian Coalition rally, with a chance to minister to the newly elected governor and senators of Georgia. Together, they have over 30 years experience in music ministry,  and have produced two self titled CDs. They share the gospel through music and drama in concerts, revivals, and special events.

Dan & Lydia were married in 1990, and have been ministering together since the day they met.  Lydia’s primary ministry is home schooling their two children, Jordan and Rachel, and taking care of their new son, John David.
