how to know God




	Faith in Jesus is SIMPLE…

S	in is a struggle for every person. We all make mistakes. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
I	can’t stop myself from making mistakes. In fact, God says we deserve to be punished for our sins. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
M	an can not earn his salvation through doing good. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the Gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
P	ossible? Yes, salvation is Possible for every person, but only through Jesus. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” John 14:6
L	ove is God’s gift to us. “God demonstrated His own love for us, in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
E	ternal life is for all who believe. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16


	Take that step of FAITH...

F	orgiveness is ours, if we confess our mistakes. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9
A	dmit that you have sinned and repent by turning away from sin and turning toward God and giving him your life. “The time has now come,” Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news.” Mark 1:15.
I	nvite Jesus to come into your heart, take control of your life, and believe He is your Father. “Yet to all who will receive him, to those who believe in His name, he gave the right to become the children of God.” John 1:12
T	ell Him that you believe and want Him to be your Savior and the Lord of your life. “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31
H	ave faith that He will save you. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Roman 10:9

If you would like to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior and enter into an eternal relationship with Him as your Father in heaven, pray this simple prayer.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I believe that I am a sinner and that You died on the cross in my place for my sins. I confess all of the wrong things that I have ever done in my life. I ask that You forgive me and wash my sins away by the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. I choose to turn from my sins and trust You as my only way to heaven. I ask you to come into my heart and take control of my life for all eternity as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe that I am truly saved and born again! Amen.
